Mission EU is our national flagship training programme providing UK organisations with structured insight into opportunities emerging across the EU’s 2021–2027 funding period and the forthcoming 2028–2034 cycle.

We are now recruiting Mission EU Trainers who will receive structured preparation and quality oversight from our EU Funds Advisor and deliver programme sessions online and in person across the UK.

Role Overview

The Mission EU Trainer will deliver engaging, structured learning sessions using materials developed by EcoBalance Academy in collaboration with our EU Funds Advisor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Mission EU training online and at client locations across the UK.

  • Facilitate clear, engaging and confident training sessions.

  • Guide group learning, discussions, exercises and Q&A.

  • Work with the Academy team and EU Funds Advisor to refine and maintain delivery quality.

  • Participate in induction, shadowing and ongoing quality assurance.

 

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience delivering training, workshops or adult learning.

  • Strong communication and facilitation skills.

  • Ability to deliver structured content with clarity and confidence.

  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.

  • Ability to travel across the UK.

  • Full Right to Work in the UK.

  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

 

Desirable Extras

  • Experience working with EU programmes, EU policy topics, or EU-related research.

  • Experience with Horizon Europe or similar innovation programmes (added value).

  • Experience in policy analysis, qualitative and quantitative data, or strategic research.

  • Experience working with public bodies, universities, SMEs or innovation teams.

  • Familiarity with online learning tools or CPD training environments.
